Nelmes Primary School Havering is situated at the northern end of Wingletye Lane in Hornchurch on a pleasant and spacious site. Nelmes offers an attractive, well-cared for environment and we pride ourselves on the security of our building.

We offer a caring environment where each pupil is valued as an individual. Our pupils achieve high academic standards and are encouraged to always give of their best intellectually. We also promote the moral, social, physical, aesthetic and spiritual development of each child.

Our curriculum aims to help all pupils achieve their potential and out-of-class activities give pupils a good chance to pursue their own interests. We are especially proud of our ICT facilities, both in the classrooms and in our purpose-built suite.

Parental involvement, in many forms, is encouraged at Nelmes School and the teaching staff will always be willing to discuss your child’s progress with you.
